Real beauty for me, is not something inherently beautiful, but when something transforms from uglyness to a thing of beauty.
Art should spill outside of the conventional spaces, literally into the places where we live, work and play.
When we paint a wall it was more than just a bit of art. It was a statement. We were saying ‘I own this city. The city belongs to me’.
Walls can divide us. Walls can imprison. But walls can be a canvas for a city to speak
Don’t be scared of empty space. It’s a wonderful thing.

When we see something painted randomly in the street - the city is alive, breaking the corporatisation of public space.
